When we met Jim Beatty, he was a new home representative. We looked at many properties and then went into his show home. We are people who want a good deal, and value. Jim helped us understand the market and also choose a home that had redeeming resale value. We had listed our home twice and could not sell it for various reasons. When Jim became an agent we called him, he came by and gave us a market analysis and reasons for the #'s, he told us what we needed to hear, not what we wanted to hear. He also suggested a number of things to help us sell. He staged the home with the help of a professional stager and put the home on the market, we got $30,000 more than a similar home down the street that sold 6 weeks before - we priced our home at his suggested price and SOLD it in 18 days! I am an investor and have numerous properties in and around Calgary. I acquired a modular home in a package deal and had marketed it a few times with other realtors with no success. I notice Jim had just SOLD a property in the community so I called him. The home was in a bad spot (siding a junk yard :-( with a mountain view :-) I knew price, location and timing where an issue, but Jim listed the property and put in the time and extra effort needed to sell it.
